Bill Chambers Sets New World Trike Record at Bonneville

Bill Chambers of Bill Chambers Racing took a Lehman Trike conversion to the Bonneville Salt Flats this year and set a new world speed record for a 3000 cc push rod trike at the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials, clocking in at 125.665 mph.  His top speed was 129.5 mph.

That was good enough to capture the world record in its class from the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM),  the  motorcycle body that sanctions 90 associations worldwide.

Bill took the trike to Bonneville two years ago when it was the first trike to run on the salt.  He set the record then but determined to come back and push the envelope a little more.  This time he came with our Pegasus electronics fuel injection system installed on a 147 cu in VTwin from Aces and Eights Racing of Deadwood, South Dakota.
