Pictures from a Customer’s Installation on his ‘79 Shovelhead

One of our customers from southern California just got done installing a Pegasus kit on his 1979 Shovelhead engine and was nice enough to send us some pictures of what it looks like on his bike.  He has done some modifications to put the fuel pump and coil in places that he prefers.

Here is a short description of some of the mods he made.

A little background on the machine might be of use to you.  I am the original owner and it is in fact original paint and all drive train as well. she is on her second overahaul just done last winter. all done with oem parts when possible. as you can see I had to fab the air cleaner brackets and weld a tab on the frame behind the motor for the fuel pump. I used the stock coil mount and use Stitt supression wires instead of the ones supplied. I can use the other ones but i will need a longer one to reach the front hole.

You can see from these pictures how clean the install looks when finished.  because the ECU is on top of the throttle body and not under the seat there is no big wiring harness to worry about.
